Eugene H. Taylor

Eugene H. (The Bee Man) Taylor, 86, husband of Evelyn (Eddinger) Taylor, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Keystone Villa in Douglassville.

Born on June 30, 1937, he was a 1955 graduate of Oley High School.

Eugene worked as a truck driver for Conoco in Wilmington, Delaware until his retirement in 1994. His true passion was beekeeping, which he did for seventy-five years.

Eugene was a member of Good Shepherd UCC in Boyertown. He was also a member of Oley Valley Fire Company, Oley Valley Fair Association, and Berks/Schuykill Beekeepers.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 59 years, are two children, Edward E. Taylor, husband of Kim; and Elaine K. (Taylor) Hintenach, wife of Mike. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Kyle E. Taylor, Morgan H. Taylor, Mackenzie T. Hintenach, and Dylan R. Hintenach.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening, April 24, 2024 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at Morrell Funeral Home 124 W. Philadelphia Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512. A viewing will also be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10AM to 11AM at Morrell Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11AM.

Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
